It’s that time of year again! Out comes another General Favorites playlist. Initially, I thought that this was going to be a really simple one to put together, but it turned out to be rather difficult. But, honestly that happens more often than not with these, especially in recent years.

So many things happened these last 6 months, but once again, it’s all… Blurry. A feeling I’ve known all too well in the past, and it’s no good. When I listen to music, without any direction, any goals at all, it makes it all mesh together into an indistinguishable mess of sound and meaningless songs. Hard to attach memories to music when life is as busy as a big fuckin’ nothing-burger, or is nothing but utter turmoil. Though, that second one at least leaves room for something meaningful to stick, at least.

We got songs that feel like subtle foreshadowing of what was to come, songs that are a little ahead of their time for me, and a song from a really good show. Anyways, let’s get into the nitty-gritty of the songs!
